Jemma Powell trained at The Oxford School of Drama.

Jemma recently played Jacqueline Hill in a one off, 90 minute BBC 2 drama ‘An Adventure in Space And Time’ – ¬†specially commissioned to mark the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who in November 2013. ¬† The TV drama told the story of the genesis of Dr Who since it’s first broadcast on 23rd November 1963.

Currently in production, Jemma’s latest projects are thriller feature ‘In Fear‘, starring Alice Englert and Focus Feautures’ as yet unnamed suspense thriller starring Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall.

Jemma featured in Paul Hyett’s ‘The Seasoning House’ which opened the Film4 FrightFest in August 2012.

She played Margaret, Alice’s older sister in the Walt Disney Studio’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’, directed by Tim Burton and released in March 2010.

Other leading film roles include ‘The Symmetry of Love’, written and directed by Aitor Gaizka, and ‘The Hole’ opposite Thora Birch and Keira Knightley, directed by Nick Hamm.

Her television credits include the greenlit productions ‘Foyle’s War’, the BBC’s ‘Final Demand’ and Shine’s ‘Hex 2′.

Theatre credits include ‘The Storm’ by Alexander Zeldin at the Royal National Theatre, London.

Jemma currently lives in London.
