Award winning Welsh actress Eve Myles trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
She is best know for her role as Gwen Cooper in the Doctor Who television spin-off show ‘Torchwood’ which aired in both the UK and US.
Eve is currently filming an exciting new lead role in the award winning ITV drama series ‘Broadchurch‘. The new series will air in 2015.
Eve played the lead role in the new BBC1 six part drama ‘Frankie’. Written by Lucy Gannon (The Best of Men, Soldier Solider) and featuring Dean Lennox Kelly and Dereck Riddell, ‘Frankie’ follows a Bristol nurse who cares more for her patients than she does her own personal life.
Eve recently appeared in the theatre production ‘All New People’ opposite Zach Braff in London’s West End.
Eve has appeared in numerous television dramas including ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Baker Boys’, ‘Little Dorrit’ and ‘Merlin’.
From 2003, Myles based herself in Stratford upon Avon, initially playing Lavinia in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of ‘Titus Andronicus’, for which she received the Sunday Times Ian Charleson award in 2004. She has also played Bianca in ‘The Taming of The Shrew’ and in 2005, appeared opposite Michael Gambon in ‘Henry IV,’ Part I and II at the National Theatre. Myles appeared in the ITV drama ‘Colditz’ in 2005.
Eve currently resides in Wales.
